    Respected Parents,

    You are hereby requested to held your ward in speaking English at home. These few points are meant to help you in your efforts and may prove a good starting point in your child’s English fluency. Children must understand these sentences.

      1. Sit down / stand up/hands up/ hands down / write / read /sleep/sit straight/stand straight.  Show me your hand (or some other parts of body).
      2. Come in / go out / play outside.
      3. Shut the doors or windows.
      4. Pick the paper/ pick up your bags / pack your bag.
      5. Throw the waste paper/rubbish paper into the dustbin.
      6. Bring your bag/notebook/pencil/hanky (handkerchief).
      7. Take your bag / note book / book / pencil / eraser. Close your note book / book / eyes.
      8. Pick up your lunch box / pack your lunch box.
      9. Open your note book / door / windows / eyes.
      10. Have your food. Sit properly / quietly / stand properly / eat properly / write properly. Don’t jump on bed or sofa.
      11. Put your legs down / head down.
      12. Don’t spoil your note book / book / walls / clothes. Don’t put your pencils / finger / hanky in you mouth/lick your fingers..
      13. Don’t talk / fight / sleep / cry / beat / abuse. Don’t spill / throw food in the home.  Don’t talk while eating.
      14. Finish your food / milk. Don’t throw wrapper here and there. Don’t bit your lips.
      15. Wash your hands / face properly. Wipe your mouth / hands / body.
      16. Take out your English N.B. / Maths N.B. / Book from your bag.
      17. Tie your belt / Lace up your shoes /Tuck your shirt in.
      18. Join you hands.
      19. Cover your note book / books.
      20. Button up your shirt. Listen to me. Keep the notebooks into the cupboard.
      21. Turn the tap on /off. Rub it. Pack up your bags/ hurry up.
      22. Keep your books / notebooks / bags / room neat clean.
      23. Good morning / good afternoon / good night / good bye mom / dad etc.

    (For Children)

    1. Mom, I have no pencil / eraser/ sharpener/ note book. Mom my pencil is broken.
    2. Mom may I sharp my pencil?
    3. Mom may I come in / go to washroom / drink water / to play?
    4. Mom may I sit /stand /take my food / have my food?
